Security is the most critical issue amid transmission of medical images because it contains sensitive information of patients. Medical image security is an essential method for secure the sensitive data when computerized images and their relevant patient data are transmitted across public networks. In this paper, the dual encryption procedure is utilized to encrypt the medical images. Initially Blowfish Encryption is considered and then signcryption algorithm is utilized to confirm the encryption model. After that, the Opposition based Flower Pollination (OFP) is utilized to upgrade the private and public keys. The performance of the proposed strategy is evaluated using performance measures such as Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), entropy, Mean Square Error (MSE), and Correlation Coefficient (CC). 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature. -
Low temperature synthesis of MoO3 nanoparticles by hydrothermal method: Investigation on their structural and optical properties
Molybdenum trioxide nanoparticles have recently achieved notable attention in optoelectronic and biomedical applications by virtue of their excellent structural, optical, electrical, and catalytic characteristics. The work presented here demonstrates the synthesis of orthorhombic MoO3 through the facile hydrothermal method at low temperature. Structural and optical characterization of the prepared sample was examined. XRD studies and Raman spectroscopy were carried out to study the structural behavior of the sample. The XRD peaks were concordant with the standard peaks of MoO3, which corresponds to the orthorhombic structure of MoO3. Micro-strain effects were also verified by the W-H method using UDM, UDEDM, and USDM. Raman spectroscopic data ascertained the orthorhombic phase of MoO3. From Tauc plot, a wide bandgap value (4.9 eV) was evaluated. In photoluminescence spectroscopy, peaks are related to the transition among the sub-bands of Mo5+ defects. Being a wide bandgap oxide semiconductor, MoO3 is a promising and worthy material for luminescence applications. 2022 -
Influence of Synthesis Temperature on the Structural, Morphological and Optical Properties of MoO3 Nanorods
Molybdenum trioxide nanomaterials have attained notable attention in the recent past and are used in various optoelectronic and biomedical applications. Here blue and purple blue light emitting MoO3 nanophosphors were synthesized using the simple hydrothermal method at three different temperatures 100C, 150C, and 200C. Structural characterization using XRD along with Raman spectroscopy confirms the formation of a highly stable orthorhombic phase. Micro strain effects have been analyzed by employing the Williamson-Hall method using a uniform deformation model. Nanorod like morphology was obtained from FESEM. Optical analysis, using Tauc plot shows a decreasing trend in bandgap value with increasing temperature. Emission peaks in the photoluminescence spectrum are associated with the transition between the sub-bands of the Mo5+ defect state. From CIE coordinates it is confirmed that the characteristic light from the samples is blue and purple-blue. Being an excellent blue and purple blue light emitting phosphor, MoO3 is a suitable material for future LED and fluorescence imaging applications. rGO-MoO3 Nanocomposite for superior methylene blue removal by adsorption and photocatalysis
Efficient MoO3 and rGO (0.5,1,2 wt.%)-MoO3 nanosorbent was prepared by facile hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy techniques confirms the orthorhombic phase. Remarkably in 10 ppm MB dye, complete removal was observed for 1:3, 1:5, 1:3.3, 1:3 (mass of catalyst: volume of dye solution) ratio for pure, 0.5 wt.%, 1 wt.%, 2 wt.% rGO-MoO3 nanocomposite, by merely stirring for one hour without any light exposure. The adsorption mechanism was examined in detail using different models including Langmuir isotherm and Pseudo second-order kinetic model. The composite sample, rGO (0.5 wt.%)-MoO3 is the most efficient nanosorbent whereas rGO (2 wt.%)-MoO3 showed the least adsorption. rGO (2 wt.%)-MoO3 was further used for time dependent study in the presence of UV and in the dark. The presence of UV enhances removal due to the combined effect of adsorption and photocatalysis. Scavenger studies were performed to analyze the mechanism of photocatalysis. 2024 Elsevier Ltd -

Case overview/synopsis: Yamuna Sastry, a young woman from a traditional Indian family, had set out to achieve her dream of financial inclusivity by helping the underprivileged in her country gain financial independence and credibility. When she was approached by a cab driver to file tax returns for him, a new venture took shape in her mind, and along with a partner, CabDost, a socially driven financial advisory start-up was created to provide financial advisory services exclusively for cab drivers. CabDost had been instrumental in making over 15,000 cab drivers financially literate, instilling in them a culture of compliance, getting them tax refunds and enabling the Indian Government recover eight crores in taxes. The success of financial inclusivity among cab drivers inspired CabDost to extend its financial services to truck drivers, auto drivers, housekeeping staff and other contractual workforce. The company found it challenging to address the demands of the increasing customer base with its available technical resources. The absence of an in-house tech team and the need for an all-in-one tech platform to provide a wide variety of financial services induced CabDost to explore other options. Dvara Money, a neo bank offering financial services, approached CabDost with a merger proposal. Though it was a lucrative offer, the founding members were apprehensive as they knew that most of the mergers failed because of myriad reasons. They were contemplating on their next move as they were in a dilemma about whether to develop a technical team in-house or to go ahead with the merger. Tribal population and skill development programme : A study of idukki district in kerala
India is a country which has people of different cultures, religions, traditions, newlinelanguages, castes and creed. In the democratic country of India, tribal people are one of the groups keeping their own culture and tradition that needs to be emphasized. The significant characteristics of the tribes are primitive traits, geographic isolation, distinct culture, shyness of contact and economically backwardness. By and large, tribes are living in different geo-climatic and ecological conditions covering from forest and plains to hills and the area lack accessibility. Though they are considered as the marginalized or most vulnerable population in India, their way of life and tradition, culture is to be preserved and they should be brought into the mainstream of society. In order to uplift the tribal community to be a part of the mainstream of society, the development of their skills is very essential. Skill development is the driving force for the transformation and development of an economy. The Government of India has taken several steps and launched many skill development newlineschemes along with other welfare schemes for the betterment of the mainstream as well as the tribal communities in India. .Keeping this objective in mind, in the 12thfive-year plan, the government of India gave the highest priority to skill development. The National Policy on Skill Development was announced by the cabinet of India (2009) to make a workforce with the strong skills knowledge and accepted qualification framework which will help to enhance the competitiveness of India and to get a decent job in the global market(IBEF, 2013). But many factors prevent the scheduled tribes from becoming beneficiaries of various skill development programs provided by the government. In the above context, this study is an attempt to know the nature and effectiveness of various skill development programs offered to the tribal community.
