Navigating the Ethico-Legal Landscape of Blockchain in Healthcare: A Critical Analysis
Blockchain technology offers improved data security, interoperability, and patient empowerment, which could revolutionize the healthcare industry. Its incorporation, however, calls for thorough evaluation of the complicated legal and ethical issues. The global pandemic has exposed the current healthcare system's lack of interoperability and the requirement for reliable clinical data that can be efficiently and securely disseminated to healthcare providers on a large scale. This analysis explores important issues such as algorithmic bias, informed consent, data privacy and ownership, and legal barriers. It looks at current regulatory frameworks and new best practices for using blockchain responsibly in the healthcare industry, highlighting the necessity of stakeholder collaboration to guarantee safe, reliable, and equitable healthcare systems. Navigating the filter bubble: A pill for hyperpersonalization

Navigating the Future of Intelligent and Smart Manufacturing A Comprehensive Bibliometric Analysis (2012-2024)
Intelligent and smart manufacturing is at the forefront of a digital revolution in the manufacturing industry. This chapter reveals how key technologies have developed and converged during the period 2012-2024 by analysing 1046 articles from the Web of Science database. Literature was compiled into ten distinct clusters: Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Services (Applications), Gateway, Industry 4.0, Heuristic, Cutting Force, Remote Maintenance, and Fabrication. Navigating the Green Frontier: Unveiling Investor Strategies in Green Bond Market vs. Traditional Markets
Green bonds have emerged as a key instrument in sustainable finance, but their risk-return profile remains poorly understood. This study examines the risk-return profile of green bonds compared to traditional markets over a midterm investment horizon. Daily closing prices of five indices (S&P Green Bond Index, S&P 500 Index, S&P GSCI Gold Index, S&P Global Clean Energy Index, and S&P 500 Carbon Efficient Index) from August 2021 to August 2024 were analysed using descriptive statistics and GARCH (1, 1) models. Green bonds exhibit higher volatility persistence and leverage effects compared to traditional markets. There is a significant positive correlation between the S&P Green Bond Index and the S&P Global Clean Energy Index. The S&P GSCI Gold Index exhibits low volatility and no significant leverage effects. Investors should consider the unique risk-return profile of green bonds when constructing portfolios. Portfolio managers should employ sector-specific risk management strategies. Policymakers should consider the potential benefits of green bonds in promoting sustainable finance and mitigating climate risk. Navigating the healthtech ecosystem: Challenges and roadblocks
Driven by recent technological advancements like Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, and digital twins, the healthcare sector is revolutionizing at a fast pace. HealthTech has numerous applications such as robotic surgery, virtual assistants, telemedicine and fitness tracking devices. But this data-driven innovation in healthcare sector is severely hampered by government barriers, privacy and security issues. The potential for comprehensive patient care is limited by interoperability problems across different healthcare systems, which impede smooth data interchange. The ecological equilibrium of the globe is under grave danger from the unprecedented global climate change problem, which has far-reaching consequences for both human society and the natural world. Navigating the Metaverse: TCCM Approach for Comprehensive Review of Avatar Marketing Strategies
Despite the growing importance of avatars in reshaping consumer interactions, there remains a discernible gap in the literature necessitating a comprehensive synthesis of existing knowledge. In response, this study conducts a systematic-literature-review employing the Theory-Context-Characteristics-Methodology (TCCM) framework. Study aims to delineate the current state of the field by addressing key research foci and conducting a meticulous TCCM analysis. Drawing from the TCCM-framework, our investigation encompasses an exploration of (1) dominant theories guiding research endeavours, (2) contexts within which avatar marketing is situated, (3) key characteristics characterizing the studies, (4) diverse study methodologies employed, and (5) the overall trajectory of research in this domain. Study unfolds a panoramic view of avatar marketing in the metaverse, synthesizing existing knowledge, and illuminating the key dimensions that shape this dynamic field. Navigating the need for accessible labelling through the narratives of consumers with visual impairment in India
This study aims to understand the strategies consumers with visual impairment (CWV) use in acquiring product information and explores preferences for accessible labelling and its benefits. This study employed the qualitative approach of thematic analysis. A snowball sampling technique was used to recruit participants. Data were collected from CWV through semi-structured interviews. The sample size of this study was 12. The data were analysed using NVivo software. The study revealed three strategies used by CWV to obtain product information, namely reliance on caregivers, staff, and technology. However, all the strategies employed have multiple drawbacks. The study reported a high preference for accessible labelling in braille and quick response (QR) codes. Implementing a combination of braille labels and QR codes on product packages was the most beneficial strategy for CWV. The Implementation of accessible labels ensures inclusion in the marketplace. Navigating the Nexus: An Integrated Framework for Energy- Water- Food Security in the MENA Region
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region confronts a severe and escalating challenge to its resource security, rooted in the complex interdependencies of the Energy- Water- Food (EWF) nexus. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the long- term impacts of alternative policy pathways on EWF security and associated socio- economic outcomes. Utilizing a specifically designed Input- Output (IO) modelling framework incorporating flexible production functions and price- induced factor substitution, this study projects outcomes to the year 2050 for ten key MENA countries under five distinct scenarios: a Business- as- Usual (BAU) trajectory, three sector- specific scenarios focused on Energy (ESC), Water (WSC), and Food (FSC), and an integrated EWF Nexus- oriented Scenario (NSC). Navigating the transition to preschool: Understanding the experience of parents in urban india
This qualitative study explores the experiences of parents in urban india as they navigate the process of selecting a preschool for their children, particularly in light of the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, which started in March 2020. In this study, preschool refers to formal early childhood education programs for children before entering primary school (typically serving children aged 35). This research examines the factors influencing parental decision-making, including the perceived importance of play-based learning, health and safety protocols, school proximity, and teacher qualifications. The study also explores the range of parental emotions experienced during this transition, from anxiety to excitement, as their children begin their preschool education. Using narrative analysis, the study involved interviews with 12 parents of children aged 37 who had recently enrolled their children in preschool. The findings highlight the significant influence of childrens perceived responses to the preschool environment on parental satisfaction and subsequent decision-making. The COVID-19 pandemic emerged as a key contextual factor shaping both the transition process and preschool selection criteria. This research highlights the active role parents play in seeking enriching early learning environments for their children. It also suggests the need for educational policymakers to support high-quality preschool education, particularly by fostering effective parental engagement, to facilitate smoother transitions for families and bridge the gap between quantitative educational targets and the qualitative dimensions of parental experience.
