Social Media and Steganography: Use, Risks and Current Status
Steganography or data hiding is used to protect the privacy of information in the transit; it has been observed that the information that flows through Online Social Networks (OSN) is very much unsafe. Therefore, people hesitate to communicate their sensitive data on social media.. Most of the information on the online social network is not useful to users and appears to disregard such details. People's actions provided a possibility for digital Steganography through the Internet.. TCPIP covert channels were used for steganography until the last decade. People began to utilize social media as a covert conduit to communicate hidden messages to targeted users as social media grew in popularity. There are numerous Online Social Networks accessible nowadays, ranging from Facebook to the more contemporary Twitter and Instagram. All of them may be utilized as covert channels without the general public noticing. The primary characteristic of steganography is the protection of information privacy; nonetheless, it has been utilized more for illicit message transmission, which is a source of concern. To make matters worse, adversaries are using steganalysis techniques to mess with the concealed data. In this article, we examine the different social media steganography techniques, such as those used on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter, as well as the difficulties that these approaches raise. The positive and negative consequences of social media, as well as its current state, are discussed in this study. Insights into Artificial Neural Network techniques, and its Application in Steganography
Deep Steganography is a data concealment technology that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automate the process of hiding and extracting information through layers of training. It enables for the automated generation of a cover depending on the concealed message. Previously, the technique depended on the existing cover to hide data, which limited the number of Steganographic characteristics available. Artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques have been used to steganography recently and the results are satisfactory. Although neural networks have demonstrated their ability to imitate human talents, it is still too early to draw comparisons between people and them. To improve their capabilities, neural networks are being employed in a number of disciplines, including steganography. Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) is a widely used technology that automatically creates Stego-text regardless of payload volume. The features are extracted using a convolution neural network (CNN) based on the image. Perceptron, Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Feed Forward Neural Network, Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) networks, and others are examples of this. In this research, we looked at all of the neural network approaches for Steganographic purposes in depth. Sustainable luxury tourism: Promises and perils
Recent decades have witnessed a rising concern regarding the prosperity of the environment and utilisation of resources. A sustainable approach is being promoted in all sectors. In the field of tourism, sustainable tourism is widely discussed among researchers and practitioners. On the other hand, luxury tourism is criticised for lavish resource utilisation to serve the few luxury tourists. There is a need to include sustainability in luxury tourism to benefit the environment, local communities, tourist destination and luxury tourists. However, sustainable luxury tourism is an emerging concept and needs more investigation. This chapter attempts to present the existing knowledge about sustainable luxury tourism by implementing a systematic literature review. Further, the opportunities and challenges associated with sustainable luxury tourism are being highlighted. This study has identified the factors that need to be considered to promote sustainable luxury tourism. Moreover, suggestions of the researchers are being presented to serve as guidelines. This study includes an example of the Diphlu river lodge, which has practised sustainable luxury tourism for many years. The viewpoint of luxury tourists are being understood by analysing the reviews of tourists from TripAdvisor using NVIVO-12 qualitative data analysis software. COVID-19 pandemic and preparedness of teachers for online synchronous classes
COVID-19 pandemic has forced educational institutes to shut down, and teachers are compelled to adopt technology ardently so that the teaching-learning process does not suffer. Gradually, it is being realised that synchronous online classes are required to enhance the teaching-learning experience. The major challenge in India is the lack of preparedness of the teachers, as most teachers have little experience with technology. Nevertheless, they have to adapt themselves quickly. However, to effectively use technology for synchronous online teaching, teachers have to be technology ready and proficient with utilising the platform used for online classes. This study attempts to understand the impact of teachers preparedness on the use of online platforms for synchronous teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper integrates the technology readiness index (TRI) and technology acceptance model (TAM), also known as the TR and acceptance model (TRAM), to investigate the phenomenon mentioned above. Mapping the landscape of tourism cities research: a bibliometric analysis of the International Journal of Tourism Cities
Purpose: This research addresses the pressing need for comprehensive studies in the rapidly evolving field of city tourism. This study aims to understand the overall performance of the International Journal of Tourism Cities (IJTC), the structure of knowledge in city tourism research and the prevalent themes and trends arising from IJTC. Design/methodology/approach: A bibliometric analysis was conducted to scrutinize the publication patterns in IJTC. This involved examining parameters such as the annual count of published articles, the keywords used in them and their respective authors. Findings: The findings reveal that IJTC has a growing and diverse publication output, establishing itself as a reputable and influential publication within urban tourism research. The results reflect various aspects and themes in city tourism research. Research limitations/implications: The study has certain limitations. The data used for analysis was obtained exclusively from the Scopus database. The analysis was conducted using only one software package, Bibliometrix. Other software packages may offer different features for bibliometric analysis. The study relied exclusively on quantitative methods for data analysis. Qualitative methods could have provided more nuanced interpretations of the data. Practical implications: Comparative analyses could be conducted between IJTC and other journals within urban tourism or related disciplines. Such research would yield valuable insights into the current state of the field and aid in identifying areas warranting further investigation. Social implications: The findings from this study can inform the decisions and actions of various stakeholders involved in urban tourism. Practitioners and policymakers can draw from this research to make informed decisions. Existing and emerging authors can identify relevant topics for their research. Readers can access pertinent information for their needs. Originality/value: This study offers a unique contribution by thoroughly comprehending the performance of IJTC between 2015 and 2023. A global perspective on psychologists' and their organizations' response to a world crisis; [Una perspectiva global sobre la respuesta de los psicogos y sus organizaciones a una crisis mundial]
Around the world, individual psychologists have stepped up to deliver essential services to address the social and emotional sequelae of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many psychological organizations have also responded to this public health crisis, though their efforts may be less widely recognized. Psychological organizations engaged in preventive and mitigation efforts targeted, among others, the general public, local communities, and high-risk groups such as health care providers. They disseminated mental health information to the general public, trained laypersons to provide psychological first aid, and used research to design and evaluate public health responses to the pandemic. In some countries, psychological organizations contributed to the design and implementation of public health policies and practices. The nature of these involvements changed throughout the pandemic and evolved from reactive to proactive, from local to international. Several qualities appear key to the value, impact, and success of these efforts. These include organizational agility and adaptability, the ability to overcome their political inertia and manage conflict, recognizing the need to address cultural differences, and allocating limited resources to high-risk and resource-depleted constituencies where it was needed most. 2021, Sociedad Interamericana de Psicologia. Characterization and Strength Assessment of Alkali-Activated Iron Ore Tailing Composite Bricks
The current study outlines a process for producing environmentally friendly bricks that can also compete successfully in today's highly competitive market. The use of iron ore tailings (IOT), which are typically disposed of as waste by the mining industry, is the subject of ongoing research for brick production. Bricks were made using IOT, which was obtained from iron ore mines in India's southern region. The study is based on the alkali-activation method of producing IOT bricks, which has been shown to be the most energy-efficient method of production. This is because, in contrast to the traditional method of producing bricks, the alkali-activation method emits fewer greenhouse gases. India has an abundance of iron ore deposits, which has resulted in extensive mining activities, which has resulted in an increase in waste generation, The waste is typically disposed of by being dumped in one of the dumping sites or dams near the mining area. These tailings pose a significant threat to the environment in their immediate vicinity. As a result, the use of IOT in brick manufacturing will reduce the mining industry's waste disposal burden. Furthermore, the use of IOT in the production of bricks will reduce the use of natural raw materials in the production of conventional bricks. Several types of brick composites were developed in this study by combining Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), Flyash, and IOT with a sodium silicate solution. Each raw material is analysed using particle size analysis (PSA), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM. The newly developed IOT bricks were put through a series of tests to determine their strength and durability in accordance with Indian standards. The developed IOT bricks had a maximum compressive strength of up to 18.45N/mm2 while water absorption was not more that 12.6%. Furthermore, the bricks were subjected to a series of wetting and drying tests to determine their long-term durability in accordance with Brazilian regulations. Each of the results obtained was validated using microstructure analysis of the product that was developed. Furthermore, the study sought to determine the compression strength of alkali-activated IOT brick prisms when combined with mortar of varying strengths. Finally, it was determined that more than 50 percent of the IOT can be used in combination with GGBS, flyash, and sodium silicate solution as an alkali activator to produce high-quality bricks under ambient temperature curing conditions. -

The shear planes for lap joint and but joint with double cover plates with numbers of bolts are analysed. From this result empirical formulas are developed. -
Indicators of corporate financial distress: Evidence from India
The study aims to identify the indicators of corporate financial distress in the Indian industrial sector. The study begins by analysing the corporate bankruptcy filings and the outcomes of filings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016. From the analysis of bankruptcy filings, a list of 82 publicly listed companies of industrial nature experiencing financial distress that have filed for bankruptcy under IBC is identified. Each of the 82 companies are paired with an equal number of matching financially sound companies to form a sample of 164 companies. Further, 12 variables from the annual reports of the sample companies are analysed for a period of five years immediately preceding the bankruptcy filing by the distressed companies. Simple regression analysis is employed for determining the primary indicator of corporate financial distress and logistic regression analysis is used to identify the supplementary indicator of corporate financial distress in the Indian industrial sector. The primary and the supplementary indicators are presented in the form of a two-stageprocess to form the Corporate Distress Prediction (CDP) scorecard. The recommended CDP scorecard predicts financial distress in the Indian industrial sector at an accuracy ranging between 90 percent to 100 percent during the five years of study. The major implication of the study is that it can guide the corporate stakeholders in knowing the financial health of a company. -

Durability and elevated temperature behaviour of geopolymer concrete developed with ground granulated blast furnace slag and sugarcane bagasse ash
In the current experimental study, the durability studies such as rapid chloride permeability, sorptivity and early and long-term effect of sulphate attack were conducted on GGBS-SCBA based geopolymer concrete. Also elevated temperature behaviour of geopolymer concrete specimen subjected to temperatures of 200?, 400?, 600? and 800? were studied to evaluate the strength, mass loss and effect on microstructures due to elevated temperature. The degradation of geopolymer concrete at elevated temperatures was observed by scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis. From the test findings it is observed that the geopolymer concrete developed have good durability characteristics. It is also observed that geopolymer concrete retains more than 50% of strength up to a temperature of 600?. From scanning electron microscope analysis of geopolymer concrete developed with GGBS and SCBA, it is found that there are larger crack formations and pores which are visible in the geopolymer concrete matrix when the specimens are exposed to an elevated temperature of 800? which confirms the degradation of CASH gel in the geopolymer concrete mixes developed. 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG. -
Mechanical Strength and Microstructure of GGBS-SCBA based Geopolymer Concrete
This paper deals with the attempt to develop and study the performance of ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA) based sustainable geopolymer concrete. NaOH (8M, 10M, and 12M) and Na2SiO3 were used as alkaline activators with a ratio of 2.5. SCBA mainly acted as amorphous silica and has been utilized as a substitute material for GGBS. The effect of SCBA contents (0%, 5%, 10%, 15% & 20% by the mass of binder) in terms of fresh, hardened, microstructural, and correlation properties of geopolymer concrete developed have been evaluated. Different tests such as the slump cone test, compression test, split tensile test, flexure test, and ultrasonic pulse velocity test were conducted. Scanning electron microscopy, Energy dispersive analysis, and X-ray diffraction analysis were investigated for understanding the microstructural properties. The research findings have shown that with an increase in molarity from 8M to 12M there is an increase in the strength properties of geopolymer concrete. The results in this current study show that 28 days compressive strength was found to increase by 415% when the NaOH molarity was increased from 8M to 10M and 821% when the NaOH molarity was increased from 8M to 12M. The geopolymer concrete developed with 20% SCBA and 80% GGBS with 8M NaOH solution and SS/SH ratio of 2.5 can be used for a target strength of 3035 MPa. Scanning electron microscope images show a packed and dense matrix, which clearly outlines the reason behind the attainment of higher strength in higher molarity of GGBS-SCBA based geopolymer concrete samples and the presence of CASH gel confirmed this in the geopolymer matrix. Furthermore, there is a strong correlation between the experimental findings and the model equations proposed. Utilization of industrial and agricultural waste materials for the development of geopolymer concrete- A review
Concrete is a highly consumed construction material. Cement is the first and foremost ingredient in the manufacture of concrete. Manufacturing of cement results in emission of an equal amount of carbon dioxide. These greenhouse gases cause global warming. The utilization of environment-friendly construction materials has been identified to be most essential to overcome environmental issues. An ecofriendly concrete such as geopolymer concrete founds to be an alternative for cement concrete. Geopolymer concrete (GPC) is a sustainable construction material as it can reduce carbon dioxide emission by utilizing industrial and agricultural waste by-products. Hence in this context, to reduce global warming, usage of cement can be minimized by replacing it with other materials such as Fly ash, Silica fume, Red mud, Ground granulated blast furnace slag, Metakaolin, Rice husk ash, Corncob ash, Sugarcane bagasse ash etc. These materials have been utilized to prepare geopolymer concrete with good mechanical strength, durability and thermal resistivity. Applying Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm to Improve UWSNs Communication
The research in this study aims at implementing the ABC algorithm to enhance the communication within UWSNs. The ABC algorithm, motivated by the CPG approach being analogous to that of honey bees searching for food, specifies optimal values for critical parameters of the network such as energy consumption, reliability in data transfer, and scalability. From the analyses conducted in this exposition, it is apparent that the envisaged methodology outperforms other conventional routing parlances in the following ways: minimal energy usage, high data delivery ratios, low packet drops, and longest network lifetime. Therefore, from the above results it can be concluded that, the said ABC algorithm is helping in achieving a better result in terms of improved underwater communication as well as in mitigating with the difficulties of UWSNs. 2024 IEEE. -

Evaluation of Bending Stiffness of Transmission Line Conductors
Cables are made of helically wound wires and have a wide range of engineering applications. This thesis considers the use of such cables in overhead electrical power transmission lines. The loading on such cables is generally axial pull or tension and torsion. The oscillation of the overhead power transmission lines due to the wind or static bending in any applications, newlineintroduce an additional bending load on such cable assemblies and are subjected to varying newlinebending curvatures and results in reduction in bending stiffness. The effective stiffness of the cable assembly in its bent state varies widely between two extreme newlinebehaviours a monolithic infinite friction state offering the maximum stiffness and a newlinecompletely loose wire zero friction state offering the minimum thickness. Due to the wide variation of this extreme values, the estimation of the cable stiffness at any intermittent stage of bending has been quite challenging and is under continuous refinement. Though many mathematical models are stipulated in the last seven decades in cables, seldom they consider the influence of wire forces and moments about its normal, bi-normal, and axial directions together, in any analysis and evaluated the cable response. newlineThe dominant wire force and moments about the axial directions were never missed by many newlineauthors. Though the global behavior of the cable apparently seems to be all right even with the omission of some forces/moments, the mechanism of its constituent wires needs a fully proven scientific explanation that predicts the local behavior also correctly. The ultimate response of the cable will be complete when accurate theories are attributed for the global and local newlinebehaviours. Hence, this research work addresses the complete mechanics of the helically wound cables and considers the influence of wire forces and moments, in all the three directions, together in the newlineanalysis and evaluates the cable response. -
A Intelligent Approach for Fault Detection in Solar Photovoltaic Systems based on BERT-BiGRU Network
Large-scale photovoltaic (PV) plant problem identification and diagnosis is expected to grow more difficult in the future as more and more plants of increasing capacity enter into existence. To keep large-scale PV installations safe, reliable, and productive, automatic identification and localization of any mal-operation among thousands of PV modules is necessary. In order to identify problems in PV plants, the suggested method compares the 'residuals' (fault indicator signals) generated by each string to a predetermined threshold. The suggested method relies on three distinct processes: data preparation, feature extraction, and model training. Preprocessing employs the method of Transform Invariant Low-rank Textures (TILT). The most useful and efficient measurements from feature extraction are kept while less important ones are discarded in favor of the Reduced Kernel PCA technique. Let's move on to model training with BERT-BiGRU. The proposed method is clearly superior compared to the two leading options, BERT and GRU. The proposed method had a 97.36% success rate. 2023 IEEE. -

However, todays consumers have shifted their preferences to eco-friendly products over harmful products. The biopolymers market globally accounted for about $13.7 billion in 2021, and by 2030, its projected to reach over $35.2 billion, growing at 11.07% [compound annual growth rate (CAGR)]. By 2026, the marine biotechnology sector will be worth $5 billion worldwide. Despite the manufacturing cost of marine biopolymers being higher than that of standard polymers, the market is growing faster because of its benefits across various industries and mainly for stakeholders. The biopolymer industry has evolved due to the depletion of petroleum reservoirs.
